Once again I stumbled over these lessons, which were taught to Guy Kawasaki by Steve Jobs. Guy was the technology evangelist of Apple.
Although this speech is already older than a year (2012), I like these “rules” because they’re still valid.
- Experts are clueless.
- Customers cannot tell you what they need.
- Biggest challenges beget the best work.
- Design counts.
- Big graphics. Big Fonts.
- Jump curves, not better sameness.
- “Work” or “doesn’t work” is all that matters.
- “Value” is different from “price”.
- A players hire A players.
- Real CEOs do demos.
- Real entrepreneurs ship.
- Some things need to be believed to be seen.
